Annabelle has a bit of a temper and usually will push, shove, punch, kick, bite someone when they are in her way or they have taken her toys or she is just cranky. Logan happened to get a metal Hello Kitty lunch pail to the face one night when he took her Hello Kitty necklace. He has a good shiner for a while. Trying to teach that girl to use her words is very hard. Her intial reaction is just physical.
And of course, we go back and forth between loving each other and messing with each other.
Rare to catch Logan reading a book. He usually only reads if we are all reading together. He does a great job when we do it together, just isn't really interested just yet.
It was preschool Sunday today at church and so I took the kids to sing. Logan wasn't interested at all and only lasted a few minutes. Annie ended up sitting down and just hanging out. They act so shy in front of a crowd.
When I was taking these pictures after church I thought they would turn out better. They looked good in my camera, but it probably would have helped if I took my sunglasses off and saw the shadow on Johnny's face. Anyhow, he had fun playing in the grass after church and eating fruit.
Johnny can and will walk if he wants to! He has managed around 10 steps or so the last couple of days. He laughs and smiles walking between two people but still would rather use his walker or crawl. I know that both options are much quicker and don't take as much concentration. I am hoping that he will gain the coinfidence soon enough and just go for it. He is also so much taller than the twins were at his age. He can reach the table and if you leave anything on the edge he will grab at it or knock if over. He also will climb onto the stool we have in the kitchen to get to the counter. We got out a chair of Logan's and he enjoys sitting on the chair and drinking his bottle. I have been trying to transition him to cups but he is being rather difficult. He throws the cup when it has milk in it. I have been trying to ease him into it but I may have to just make the switch and get rid of all bottles in the house. I might have to try a couple different kinds of cups, but for goodness sake if he can drink water out of the cups he should be just fine drinking milk.
That's it for now. Hoping to plan some sort of first birthday party for Johnny in the coming weeks. Weekends are busy though, so we will see - we also need Daddy to be off from work too.
Enjoy your week!
