It's official
I signed a contract today! I am no longer under the title as long-term substitute. Hopefully this will help with maintaining a full time position next year. I am finishing my class this week and then it is just a matter of completing paperwork and I have a single subject credential!

Nasty bug
Finally got what everyone else has had at school. It sucks! I have been in bed since Sunday. Made a doctors appointment for this afternoon to make sure that it isn't something more. Annie had a low fever on Monday and has been fine since, Logan has also been battling a fever, poor guy woke up at midnight with a temp of 103! Hoping that life returns back to normal soon. Passed my test!!!
I am so very excited to say that I passed all 3 of my CSET tests!!! I got my results today and I am so pleased. I am in the middle of my online class and things are going okay. It is more stress, but it is good for me. Online learning is so different, I am a better student when I listen to someone and talk with others about what I am learning. After I finish my class I will be able to apply for my single subject credential and move up on the seniority list! I should have done this a long time ago, but I am thinking everything happens for a reason.
The kids were sick all last week, they both had fevers and coughs for a few days. They spent the week at home and are so ready to go to preschool. I definitely think they get more stimulation there then at home. Guadalupe is able to expose them to a lot of things, take them places and give them undivided attention, but there is something about interacting with other kids and being in a different environment. Logan's cutest think right now is when something doesn't work right or he drops something, he says "Oh come on." It is so cute. Annie is turning into quite a pistol and is trying to get her way ALL the time. This make for a tough time for everyone because she is unhappy because she doesn't get what she wants and Robert and I are constantly disciplining her. Sometimes she looks so sad and it is so hard to stick to the punishment. Just today she bit Logan so hard she drew blood, so she didn't get to go to tumbling and she was pissed! Anniebelle, as Logan calls her, is also battling an ear infection. That was a fun two hours in urgent care on Sunday - there are a lot of sick people out there right now. At first Annie didn't want to go because she said she didn't want the inhaler (nebulizer), I told her the doctor was just going to look in her ear. She was a trooper, seems how she didn't sleep much the night before when she spent the night at her cousin's house. I am going owe Cory big time for that one. Logan slept all night next to Cami on the floor and according to her, it was the Best Night Ever!

Night time
I usually check in on the kids before I go to bed for the night and lately this has become our norm, Annie is sleeping on the floor and
Logan has taken off his pull up and gone back to sleep. We've tried asking Annie why she wants to sleep on the floor but she has no reason. Not sure what Logan's deal is with the pull up. He can't make it through the night so Friday morning when he walked out of his bedroom with his pants on inside out I knew that he had also peed the bed! Little stinker.
