Finally some pictures of kids and house

Here are a few pics of the kids on the way to Lupe's house in the morning.  Their first day there they both slept until I had to load them into the car so they were still in jammies.  Now they don't want to change until they get to Lupe's.  They like being with Lupe but I think one day a week is perfect.  There isn't much for them to do at her house but they get their Lupe time.

Annabelle's lovely hair today.  I think she probably had about 12 bows in her hair.  Yesterday it was only 6 - but she is independent and wanting to do it herself.
Pictures of the kid's room.  They still share a room and I think it is better that we kept them together right after the move because sometimes they are scared and they have each other.  Their room is big enough for big kid beds, their big dresser, a book shelf, their kitchen and room to throw everything on the ground.  I snapped these pics just a few minutes ago as they are supposed to be napping.  Naps don't really happen at home unless I lay with them and there is just too much to do right now.  We all took a nap in my bed yesterday, but now it is covered with clean clothes.

Johnathan's room - I think that is how we are spelling it????  I have gotten back many items plus more.  Just picked up the breastpump and exersaucer yesterday from a friend who had them. We are basically set, just a little freaked out that it is happening so soon.  This pregnancy seemed to fly by and I really can't believe that I have 8 school days left!

Everyone was so generous with diapers and wipes, I think we are set for a while.

Kid's bathroom, nothing crazy going on here.  One day I might decide on a theme, but until then I don't even had a shower curtain up because there is no need for one.
The kitchen - eh!  I finally was able to clear off the counters and I think things are where I want them.  No close ups here, because this kitchen needs major work.  The cabinets don't look too hideous in the picture, but they are bad and need a DEEP scrubbing.  The sink is horrible and right now I am washing everything by hand as the dishwasher is gross.  One day this will be a fabulous kitchen.
Robert's gym.  It has a bunch set up, but I know he has more plans for it.  We decided that one day we will tear down the purple wall behind the white board, but until then we will just live with the color.  No point in painting it to tear it down.
I have to capture a sunset photo because it is gorgeous from our house.  We spend some evenings out on the patio, where we get a glorious breeze and it is so quiet and peaceful.  We have a ton of work to do both inside and out and eventually we will be pleased.  We had quite a few mishaps right from the get go that stopped momentum on some projects.  Plus school started as soon as we moved in so it has been difficult finding the time and energy to put things together and organize.  I am still searching for a dinning room table, I'd like a hutch to go with it and some sort of bench/organizer thing for right when we walk in the door.  The kids have just been kicking off their shoes and I've been leaving my school bag on the ground because there is no real place for it.  Needless to say, I feel like there is stuff everywhere because we aren't sure where to put it or just out of pure laziness :)

Crazy to say, but soon enough there will be a new addition to our family and things will for sure be crazier but hopefully good.
11 days - it is getting closer!!!

Week 1 done

First week of school is in the books and really only four more until maternity leave!  I am very lucky to only have 32 kids in my class as the last two years there have been 39 in 6th grade.  It seems as though I have a pretty nice class, hormones usually change things once spring hits.  It was hard to get back into the swing of things.  The kids went to preschool all week and did great waking up and getting ready in the morning.  They will spend one day a week with Lupe and the rest at school.  Annie starts dance class again next week and Logan will watch unless he wants to participate.  They are still working on basic movements, following directions and waiting their turn.

Both kids spent time in the pool this week and weekend as the weather has been nasty in ramona this week.  They can both swim across the jacuzzi without floaties and one day when I figure out where I stashed my camera I will video tape it.  Both kids also do a good job of jumping off the side of the pool.  They have been attempting dives as their older cousins practice and practice.  Logan decided yesterday to try and do a front flip in the water with his floaties and got around a couple of times.  The good and bad of having older cousins to learn from.

I finally got into the babies room this weekend to sort and organize.  The crib, swing, changing table and clothes are all ready to go. The rest of the room is a disaster.  I was very fortunate to have two friends pass on clothes to this boy and their are a ton!  I went through 3 crates of just 0-3 month clothes and just picked the ones I liked and put the rest back.  We have a good stash of diapers and wipes, blankets and burp cloths - now I just need to remember how this whole baby thing works.  I truthfully don't remember much from the twins, there are some things and moments that I will never forget but there is a lot that I have no clue about.  I am nervous about caring for three small children and fret about not getting enough sleep and being cranky with Annabelle and Logan when they won't deserve it.  Here's to hoping Johnny is an easy going baby :)

The house is coming along.  I got our room as organized as much as possible without using Robert's closet as there is some plumbing that needs to be done through the wall.  Our bathroom is good to go and everyday I am amazed at how big it is.  Just wish it wasn't so hot because I want to take a bath!  The gun safe is safely put away and stocked nicely and there is now shelving in the "garage" for all of our storing needs.  Robert is putting together the gym and bought a shed that has way too many
pieces for a hot summer day.  We are still looking for a dining room table, need to tackle the mold
issue in the laundry room and hopefully figure out some kitchen appliances.  The yard will need major attention in good time but for now we are enjoying our patio in the morning with coffee and in the afternoon to soak in the afternoon breeze as the kids and dog play.

I promise to try and find the camera and continue to post as the chaos is only going in increase.  Baby is coming October 3rd!
