Johnny boy turned 11 months yesterday. He is such a big boy and is such a joy to be around. He is a great sleeper and usually wakes up around 6am, if I am every lucky he lasts until 6:30. He is pretty good about taking a nap, the first morning one he will fight but will go down especially if you put him in the car to go somewhere. He eats a ton and drinks quite a bit of milk. He is not even close to walking, doesn't even really like standing on his own. He will walk while you hold one hand but if you let go he immediately goes to his knees to crawl. Just the other day he started to say mama. I know it is just the next sound he has mastered, but hoping that he associates it with me soon :) He has been saying dada and screaming for a while. He waves hello and goodbye and just once he blew a kiss for me. When I drop him at Lupe's in the morning he immediately goes to her and then waves bye to me and does the exact opposite in the afternoon when I pick him up. He gives nice open mouth kisses and still will pull hair any chance he gets. He is wearing 12 - 18 month clothing and I just went up to size 4 diapers. They are pretty big around the waist but the 3's just weren't cutting it anymore. He likes all the toys that make noise and one of his other favorite toys is a hammer. He will just bang it on the ground for a while. He also likes to throw anything. We are working on saying ball and throwing it - he sort of plays fetch with himself :)
Annie posed for the top picture but was upset because her legs weren't showing, so I had to take another with her entire pose!
We are in week 2 of school and things are crazy. Trying to get everyone back on the early morning schedule has been challenging. I have been letting them sleep as long as possible, but it's not really working because then it is the mad rush out the door. I need to just wake them up so they have plenty of time. The other night Annie and Logan talked until probably 8:45 in their beds. It was cute, but I knew they would be tired come morning. Robert is still working crazy overtime, so I am still trying to prep all the lunches and dinner and this week I did horrible. Hoping that I get back on track this weekend and plan everything accordingly - I am a much happier person when there is a plan.
