Holy Smokes it has been a while!!!

It is hard to believe that I really haven't been on this in such a long time!!  I am importing pictures and videos from my phone to the computer and I realized how much time has gone by.  I am going to do my best to try and remember the key points of this last year.

Logan - Currently in first grade and is okay with school.  He has fun while he is there and tries his best but still is not a fan of it in general.  He is the type that goes to school to be with his friends and play games at recess and if some learning happens along the way then okay.  He is reading and is getting better and better everyday.  He is enjoys math and tries to do a bunch in his head.  He is still a sweet boy but does thoroughly enjoy bugging his sister every chance he can get.  Logan played flag football for the first time this year.  He was on a challenging team and unfortunately didn't win a game.  Logan did improve over the season and was able to score some touchdowns toward the end.  He is quick and enjoys playing the game.  He just started a Hip Hop class and it is fun to watch him move - he has a natural rhythm.  It is going to make for some epic Friday Night Dance Parties.  Wrestling season just started and we have his first tournament on Sunday.  I'll do my best to upload some videos.

Annabelle - In first grade and loves school!!  She enjoys reading and math and loves to help.  She received an award for the most reading counts points in all of first grade.  She is very social and has lots of friends.  She likes to organize but is quite the hoarder.  She loves to save everything.  Annie played soccer again this season.  She enjoys playing defense and has gotten good at timing.  She struggles a bit at the soccer fields because of her allergies and asthma.  If she wants to keep playing soccer we may have to venture to the indoor field.  Wishign that Ramona had a smaller indoor field for the little ones.  She is also taking the Hip Hop class as well as Jazz class.  I asked her to pick one but she says that she just can't.  We will see if I can afford to keep her in both classes.  She is also still doing gymnastics and loving it.  She keeps getting stronger and really wants to move up to the next level.  We have practiced some at home, but we have yet to get a mat back in the house after the kitchen remodel - more on that later.

Johnathan - In preschool and is 4!  Not sure where to start with this one.  He does enjoy going to preschool, mostly to play with his best friend Tommy.  He does a better job of behaving at school then he does for me at home - something about saving it for his mama because he knows I love him no matter what - b.s. if you ask me.  He is a tough cookie.  He can be th sweetest thing and make great choices and just surprise me with what he is capable of, however, he can also be a total pain.  He has gotten much better at being able to fall asleep in his own bed and stay there all night.  We have caught him a few times recently sneaking food after everyone else has gone to bed.  Johnny tried soccer this last season.  It had its ups and downs.  He did a great job at dribbling and understanding how to score the ball - but didn't like sharing the ball or when he had to sit out because he had to rotate in.  Just don't think he was socially ready.  He has been going to speech twice a week since the school year started and he is making good progress.  Strangers are able to understand him better and he is starting to make some sounds that he couldn't do a few months ago.  I really do think there is a lot going on in his brain and he has a hard time expressing himself.  He still has about a year and a half until he start Kinder so hopefully he figures things out before then.

Robert - He recently changed departments at work.  He is busy at work and gets home and helps run kids to practices.  He tried to help out with Logan's football team and was pretty frustrated with the whole situation.  He played a big part in our remodel and spent a lot of weekends fixing things.  Next up is our bathroom :)

Myself  - Busy working and running kids around.  Very happy to have a kitchen back as well as the laundry room.  Trying to workout 5 times a week and build some muscle.  Exercise is a stress relief for me and helps me focus on something other than work, housework or family for just a little bit each day.  I have a couple of friends who I can work out with either at school or during gymanstics practie.  There is a kettlebell, dumbells and bands in the back of my car at all times now.

Okay - here are some recent photos.  I will try and go through what I downloaded today and walk you through 2017 :)
