Yuma

It's pretty sad that I am just now posting these - Sorry OMA!!!  We visited Yuma in February and the weather could not have been more beautiful.  We spent a lot of times outside practicing fishing for the first time, playing soccer and football, swimming in the pool (COLD!!!), and just hanging out.  It was such a nice visit!  The kids love going on "vacation" to Yuma to visit Oma and Mort.  They were spoiled as they were the only great grandchildren there.  The kids have since spent every weekend "fishing" in our pool.  We hope to give them a taste of real fishing soon.

The kids are all doing well.
Logan - is still loving jui jitsu and his favorite submission is an arm bar.  He tries to practice on Annie and Johnny all the time.  He did it with me the other day and I was surprised by his strength.  He is determined to be faster and stronger than both Robert and Jason.  He can do really good push ups and has told Robert that he is ready to workout on Sundays!
Annie - is my lil helper. She has taken an interest in helping me make dinner.  She wants to do everything herself, which is a little scary.  She is pretty good about being careful with the hot stove and pots/pans.  She has her own room now and she couldn't be happier. I thought that she would have trouble going to sleep at night because she has always been with Logan, but she goes in there and is out.
Johnny - he is my crazy boy!!  We are still working on potty training.  He will go when you take him but hasn't mastered figuring out when to go on his own yet - makes for a lot of laundry :(  We are struggling with bedtime.  I have to lay with him until he falls asleep or he will play, wander the house or bother Logan.  He takes at least 30 minutes to settle and fall totally asleep.  Some nights I wake up and realize that I am still in his bed!  The crazy thing is he will wake up during the night and go all over the house. He has been known to get a snack, play in Annie's room and most recently was on the couch at 3 AM typing on my laptop.  We are trying to figure out how to best handle that!!
Unitl next time...
