This year Christmas was at least 4 days long! We had Christmas Eve at our house with the Bash/Schaffer clan. Then Lis and Jason spent the night and we opened up presents Christmas morning. We had brunch at my parents and then went back later for dinner with the rest of the family. The next day, Grandma Bash and Mort and Uncle came up for another day of Christmas. Then my sister hosted a cousins get together with some cousins that were in town for a short amount of time. It was so nice to be surrounded by family and create memories.
Update on the kids:
Logan
Is currently in Jiu Jitsu and Gymnastics. He is a very busy guy but enjoys both sports and looks forward to learning new things. He has a great grip and can outlast most on the bars/rings. Robert takes him to Jiu Jitsu so I hear all about it when he gets home. He tries take-downs on Annie and Johnny all the time. He is doing really well at school, a little squirelly but he is a good boy. He is sounding out words and enjoys looking at books and watching movies.
Annabelle
Annabelle is also in gymnastics and really wants to play soccer again. Her handstands and cartwheels have improved significantally since starting. She has gotten stronger and enjoys going. She is a drama mama and drives me crazy most days. She says the funniest things. She is too smart for her own good and usually gets into trouble because of it. She is also sounding out words, but doesn't really have the coinfidence yet. I had her writing out sentences the other day and she told me she couldn't do it, but then wrote the cat sat. She is also a bit of perfectionist and wrote the letter a mutliple times because it wasn't round enough to her liking. She really likes to look at books, play games and color.
Johnathan
AHHH!! He is my crazy boy. He decided that he was done with the crib and climbed out every time we put him in, so he now has a big boy bed and shares a room with Logan. Annabelle was super excited about getting her own room. We are in the thick of potty training and he is doing okay. He goes pee in the potty most of the time but has no desire to poop in it!! He enjoys keeping up with the older kids and forgets that he is 3 years younger most of the time. He is finally talking! A lot of words he leaves off the ending sound, but I can tell what he is saying most of the time.
Life is crazy most days and sometimes there is hardly time to breathe, but it is good.
