Soccer!! Dance. School.

Pictures of Annie and Logan  I have no clue whether or not this link will work.  David has been so nice; he has taken pictures during the kids games and I have them on my Google Drive.  Just not sure how to get them to post here??  If the link doesn't work I'll play with it and see what I can do.

Annie and Logan both started soccer this season.  They seem to be having fun.  Logan usually hustles and really goes for the ball.  He really enjoys scoring goals and has proved to be a good teammate.  Annie has her moments, she will hustle and then just kind of wander around.  When she does go for the ball, she is able to push her way through and get the ball from the other players.  Both of my kids need to learn to plant their feet and not get knocked down. They also need to work on dribbling the ball without falling over.  We have a real good group of parents and kids and their coach does a good job with them - a lot of patience!  Thankfully, soccer at this age is pretty low key - one practice and one game a week.  Logan wants to play basketball and wrestle once soccer is over.

Annie started dance this week.  She is taking ballet which is quite different from what she was doing with Nana.  It is still weird to have her take class from some stranger.  I wasn't too impressed with her teacher and I told myself I would give it until the end of October, but if Annie is having fun and learning I will let her continue.  I'll see if I can take photos within the next couple of weeks.

The big kids are going to school 5 days a week and doing well.  They have some days where instead of napping they get to play games and do "special" activities with just a couple of other kids.  They look forward to their stay up days.  The plan is to start them in ESK come January - we will see if I still feel that way once we get there.  They have such a small class at preschool which is a huge benefit of keeping them there.  We will see...  Johnny is going to preschool 3 days a week and absolutely loves it.  He is learning how to be a nice friend (not hitting/biting, etc whatever else he learns to do from his bro & sis).  He is talking more and more, but still has a hard time with the ending of sounds.  He goes to the doctor in a couple of weeks, so I'll update you more then.

I have also been really bad about taking photos :(  I went and got the camera out the other day and I am trying to take pictures every couple of days of just our randomness.  Hopefully the next post will have more photos.

Enjoy - October is right around the corner!!!
