I cannot believe my little man is 6 months! It is hard to believe that much time has passed. He graced me with a 6 hour stretch of sleep the other night and I am hoping that he realizes it is okay not to eat every 3-4 hours at night! Speaking of eating, I haven't done the best job at introducing new foods. He has tried banana, cantaloupe, sweet potato and beans. He is always watching us eat and tries to grab at everything. He is pretty good at getting a spoon to his mouth. Another goal for spring break is to make a bunch of baby food, especially to take to Lupe's house.
He is trying to sit up but usually ends up slumping over and finding his way to his belly. He is a master at manuvering on his belly and scooting backwards. He has tried to pull himself up to sitting by using my leg, but can't quite figure it out.
He loves Annie and Logan. He smiles and laughs whenever they are around. He watches them and listens to them. It will be interesting to see when he starts talking. Johnny is such a happy guy and still only cries when he is hungry or tired. He is a terrible self-soother and can't get himself to sleep in the crib, we are working on it. He will scream forever and then you get him, put him on your chest and he is out within seconds. That kid has our number...
