Summer 2018 Update
Annabelle and Logan are now 8! We went fishing with my friend Debbie and her husband Mike for their birthday. All three caught fish, rode bikes, enjoyed some rain and had fun. We pretty much had the whole park to ourselves. We had a family BBQ the weekend before and were fortunate to have family from far away join us.
We have spent most the summer at home swimming in the pool. Johnny has turned into the biggest fish and has surprised us with his ability to swim, dive, swim down to the deep end of the pool and hold his breath for a LONG time. We have made a couple of beach trips and the kids always enjoy the sand and surf. Annie and Johnny took to swimming in the waves this last time and it is such a scary thing to watch your kids go under water at the beach and then just wait for their heads to pop back up again. Logan has really improved swimming and boogey boarding at the beach.
Logan kept up his wrestling this summer and competed in two different tournaments. He took first at Cal State Games and 2nd at Summer Slam. I thought we would have a little time off from sports but now that wrestling is over Annie and Logan both start soccer this week. They are both on the bigger field playing 7v7. Logan will also start flag football again with Coach Dad. Johnny tried a little of wrestling this summer but still lacks focus and really wanting to try. We will try again come November during actual wrestling season.
Robert and I got away for a long weekend in Vegas. We saw a show, UFC fanfest, UFC Fight, and some much needed pool and spa time.
Only three short weeks until school starts. Annie and Logan will be in second grade and Johnny will enjoy one more year of preschool. I will do a mass upload of my phone, which seems to be my camera of choice right now and add those asap.
