No pictures tonight because I'm on the iPad, laying in bed :).
We had our first urgent care/er visit last Wednesday. Annie and Logan both had a cold for a couple of days, but about mid-day Annie's breathing got ad and she was wheezing. She used the inhaler and took a nap and them when I got home from work she was breathing faster, like she couldn't get a deep breathe. I gave her the inhaler and waited to see if her breathing got better, but it didn't. So, Cory and I headed to urgent care, she ended up with two nebulizer treatments and steroids. The doctor said we may have to take an ambulance down to children's hospital, but it did get better. So instead he let me drive her down instead. Children's was a mess and ended up being a really long wait, but my girl got better and we were released. She was super excited to get a Popsicle at midnight and then fell asleep on the way home. It was scary to know that my poor girl couldn't breathe, hopefully we won't be doing that anytime soon. I'm going to ask for a nebulizer for home at our next visit.
Robert and I enjoyed a weekend away in Vegas this past weekend. It was nice to not have any responsibility for over 48 hours. We danced, ate way too much greasy food, had massages and saw a sexy show. Although it is hard to leave the kids I know it is good for Robert and I to have time together as well.
Other tidbits, these darn kids are learning and growing so much! Annie knows most of her colors, she mixes up red and green. Logan guesses at all colors, wondering if will get it or if he is colorblind like my dad and brother. They love their kid guitars and are often singing and rocking out. Logan hums all the time. It cracks us up because we don't think he even realizes that he is doing it. Lupe is also teaching them songs in Spanish. One of their favorite activities right now is building and knocking down blocks. They also enjoy riding their bikes, Logan is still working on getting the pedaling down. They are doing amazing at going to bed. That's all I can think of for now. I'll try to post more often now that I can do it from the comfort of my own bed.
