2 Months and a Christmas Tree
The kids put on a show for Johnathan last week. The poor kid kept trying to track them, but they move around a lot! I'll post the video soon.
Little man trying to watch the show
Somebody decided Ironman needed to be strapped into the car seat :)
Johnathan turned 2 months last week. We went to the doctor and he is growing and doing well. He is up to 12 pounds 4 ounces and 23 3/4 tall, which puts him in the 71st percentile. This is amazing seems how the other two are such shorties. Everyday he seems to be getting bigger. He is getting big cheeks and chunky thighs :). He is awake more during the day and is sleeping well for me at night. He has a long sleeping sessions to begin with and then does okay afterward. Right now the pattern is 8:30 - 2:30 and then off and on til 5:30 then back down til ?? He is my alarm clock right now, can't push that snooze button. He enjoys some tummy time, but prefers his back. He has lift up his head pretty high but there are no signs of rolling over. He has been sleeping in the rock and play in our room because it has been so cold and we put a space heater on in our room. He is doing well with Lupe and taking to the bottle just fine. He seems to eat more when given a bottle so I hope I can keep up with him.
Finally caught a great smile
We got a tree this weekend and the kids had fun running around the tree farm. We went for a Cypress tree, no pine needles.
Love Annabelle's face in this one.
Decorating the tree. They want the lights on at all times. They don't understand why they are on when they go to bed and then off when they wake up.

Turkey Day
Bad mom didn't take many photos on Thanksgiving. On Thursday, Johnathan decided to sleep through most of the events at Joan's. Below is a picture after he woke up and had his diaper changed.
Friday, at my parent's house visiting with family. Again, the only picture I took. Thanksgiving was nice this year, pretty laid back. We did our typical two dinners in two days. The unfortunate thing is most of the leftovers are almost all gone and I purposely left all sweets at someone else's house. My sweet tooth is in full effect so it is probanly a good thing there is none in the house.
Johnathan is smiling and laughing now. He has had some good awake times and enjoys watching the older two and they get so excited when he smiles at them. I have a hard time capturing a smile on camera, but it will happen.
Pinterest finds - I have spent some days and middle of the nights on pinterest and have actually made a couple things. The first I just put together today - need a white board marker and dinner ideas, but I am hoping that if I meal plan and actually write it down for both Robert and I to see we will follow it. The second, it almost finished. The kids come home with quite a bit of art work from school and I felt bad just putting it straight to the recycling bin. So now it is displayed for a while and will change frequently. I bought the decal to put on the wall but I am scared to actually apply it to the wall.
Other exciting news is that we now have a fence around some of the property. It is both wood and chainlink. Now Mya has room to roam and the kids can't escape down to the road. We are also hoping this will keep out critters and offer a little bit of privacy.
We are also blessed to have three orange trees. One is doing well and has produced quite a bit of fruit. One has just a few oranges on it and the other one is coming back to life. They are all different and couldn't get a picture of one of the tags. Hoping that with time all three will give us good fruit. I want to plant a couple more fruit trees with time.
More pictures of the fence and play areas.
I return to work tomorrow!!! I am most worried about getting all three kids out the door in the morning. Our first drop off is at 6:45 and the kids have been spoiled the last 8 weeks not being on a schedule. It was quite nice not having to rush out of the house and enjoying the morning. Tomorrow, it is back to the grind. Logan must have gotten the memo as he woke up at 5 AM this morning and Annie follwed at 5:30. Got Logan back to sleep for a bit but Annie was up for the morning.
I have prepped kid lunches for the week, all sandwiches and snacks are made and packaged. I made muffins for easy on the go breakfast because I don't think we will have time for that in the morning. I swear it takes my kids at least 20 minutes, if not longer, to finish any meal. All of Johnny's necessities are already at Lupe's house. I just have to remember milk in the morning. I went to school this week and hopefully remembered everything. My pump is already there - can't believe I am doing that again. I really thought I was done being BFFs with my pump. I am very lucky that Lupe will bring Johnathan to me three times a week at lunch to either feed or just hang out. She will have all three kids on Fridays, so I might go to her house to visit. We shall see how things shake out. I have school for three weeks and then another break and Johnathan goes for a doctor's appointment on Wednesday. He is just a couple days short of being 2 months. It is really crazy how time has already started to fly by. My big kids are so BIG and Johnathan is changing so much. I remember how much babies change in the first year it is crazy.
Okay, off to try and put big kids down for naps before the next nursing session. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and wish me luck this week.
